Choose Your Integration
ZenPay supports multiple integration paths depending on how much control you need and how much implementation work you want to do.
Use this page to choose the right starting point before going deeper into the documentation.
Use Hosted Checkout when
Choose Hosted Checkout when:
- you are integrating ZenPay into your own website or app
- you want to launch checkout using the JavaScript Plugin
- you want modal / iframe or redirect checkout behaviour
- you want ZenPay to host the payment UI while your backend remains responsible for validation and payment state
This is the best option when you want an integrated customer experience without building and hosting your own payment form.

Go to
Use Payment Links when
Choose Payment Links when:
- you want a direct hosted checkout page link
- you want low setup effort
- you do not want to build an integrated checkout flow
- you want a faster path to accepting payments with minimal development work
This is the best option when the merchant wants a hosted-link model instead of embedding checkout into their own site or application.

Go to
Use REST API when
Choose REST API when:
- you need server-to-server payment operations
- you need deeper backend control
- you want to manage payment lifecycle actions programmatically
- you are building backend-led integrations rather than browser-launched checkout
This is the best option when your integration is primarily backend-driven.

Quick rule of thumb
- Hosted Checkout → integrated browser checkout
- Payment Links → hosted payment link
- REST API → backend-controlled integration
If you are unsure, start with the option that matches how the payment flow begins:
- from your website/app → Hosted Checkout
- from a shared payment link → Payment Links
- from your backend systems → REST API
